DS emulators themselves are legal, as they are simply software that allows a computer or other device to mimic the functionality of a Nintendo DS. However, downloading or distributing DS ROMs (which are copies of the games themselves) without owning the original game is illegal and a violation of copyright law. It is only legal to download and play DS ROMs if you own the original game. Therefore, it is important to be aware of the legal implications when using DS emulators and ROMs. **

Nintendo DS games are saved on the DS using a combination of internal memory and external game cartridges. The DS has internal memory for saving game progress, but some games also use save files on the game cartridges themselves. When a player saves their game progress, the data is stored either in the internal memory or on the game cartridge, depending on the specific game. This allows players to continue their game from where they left off, even if they switch game cartridges. **

While the concept of tolerance is generally positive and promotes acceptance and understanding of diverse perspectives, there can be drawbacks to an overly tolerant culture. Sometimes, tolerance can be taken to an extreme where harmful behaviors or beliefs are allowed to persist unchecked in the name of acceptance. This can lead to a lack of accountability and enable discrimination or injustice to go unaddressed. It is important to strike a balance between tolerance and holding individuals accountable for their actions to ensure a healthy and equitable society. **
